Adult Class Course Information
1. What skill levels are suitable for the course?
The course is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some experience. Advanced projects can also be guided.
2. What does the course content include?
We offer personalized guidance based on students' interests, so there is no fixed curriculum. Our projects include, but are not limited to, the following. If your project is not listed, please contact us before registering:

Clothing: Skirts, Pants, Shirts, T-shirts, Dresses, Alterations to old clothes

Home Use: Pillowcases, Curtains, Patchwork crafts

Accessories: Tote bags, Backpacks, Makeup bags, Hats

Children's Items: Children's clothing, Baby clothing, Bibs, Small-sized stuffed animals or plush toys

We use table sewing machines, which are not suitable for making or altering thick garments like jeans or denim jackets.
3. What skills will students learn?
Most students will learn various sewing techniques. Pattern making and drafting require private lessons.
4. How long is the course?
Each class is three hours, currently held on Tuesdays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Registration and Payment
1. How do I register and pay? What payment methods do you accept?
Registration can be done online or in-person at the studio using a credit card. Online payments can be made via credit card, Apple Pay, PayPal, or E-Transfer.
2. What is the cost of the course?

Group classes on Tuesdays: $65 per session

5-session package: $315

Private lessons: $120 per hour for up to three people, including materials and equipment.
3. Is there an expiration date for the drop-in sessions or the 5-session package?
Yes, the drop-in sessions or the 5-session package must be used within 1 year from the date of purchase. Please make sure to use them before the expiration date.
4. Do you offer discounts or packages?
Yes, a package of five classes is available for $300. Drop-in sessions are $65 per class.
5. How can I reserve my spot in the class, and is there a registration deadline?
To secure your spot in the classes, we recommend completing the registration and payment as soon as possible. Class spots are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, so early registration ensures your place.
Class Details
1. Is there a fixed schedule?
Classes are held every Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, following the Richmond School Board's calendar. Classes are paused during school breaks and resume when school is in session.
2. Can I continue learning after the course ends?
Yes. If classes are paused during school breaks, you can resume when school starts. For those who paid for five sessions, attendance is tracked per session.
3. Do the five sessions need to be attended consecutively?
No, it’s not required. You can schedule the sessions flexibly based on your availability. Please notify us at least one day in advance if you plan to attend a class. We will keep a record of your attendance, and the five sessions will remain available until all are used.

5. What is the class size?
The adult class has a maximum of 8 students.
6. Can I bring a friend or family member?
Yes, but each participant must register in advance. We cannot accommodate non-participants in the studio.
7. What happens if the class is canceled?
If the studio cancels the class, a full refund will be given.
8. Is there convenient parking near the class location?
Yes, there are many visitor parking spaces available.
Equipment and Materials
1. Do I need to bring my own materials?
Generally, no. We provide the necessary materials and tools. If you have specific needs, you are welcome to bring your own.
2. What kind of sewing machines do you use?
We use Baby Lock Jubilant and Singer serge sewing machines.
3. Are the sewing machines provided, or do I need to bring my own?
We provide machines, but you may bring your own if it is in good condition.
Additional Information
1. Is there a certificate upon completion?
We do not currently offer certificates.
2. Do you offer private lessons?
Yes, private lessons are $120 per hour, including materials and equipment, for up to three people. Please contact us by email or phone to schedule.
3. Do you offer online classes?
Not at this time.
4. What is your refund policy?
We do not offer refunds unless the studio cancels the class. If you need to cancel, the fee will be credited for future use. Please consider your enrollment carefully before registering.
5. Do you provide support outside of class hours?
We provide sewing-related guidance only during class hours.
